Village of Milan Aquatic Center Closed Due to Unsafe Conditions

For public safety reasons, the Village of Milan Aquatic Center is closed for the foreseeable future following safety concerns identified during a recent inspection. The inspection revealed structural deficiencies that rendered the facility non-compliant with State of New Mexico building code regulations.
To ensure the safety of all users and staff, the decision was made to close the facility until these issues can be thoroughly addressed and resolved. The Village of Milan Aquatic Center is slated for comprehensive remediation to rectify these concerns and bring the facility up to code.
The Village of Milan is committed to prioritizing public safety and will keep the aquatic center closed until all necessary repairs are completed. Once the facility reopens, the goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable space for all users.
