NOTICE OF MEETING AND INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 292
THE TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MILAN, NEW MEXICO HEREBY PROVIDE NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE AS FOLLOWS: AT ITS MEETING SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 26, 2023, AT 5:00 PM, OR AS SOON THEREAFTER AS POSSIBLE, AT THE OFFICES OF THE VILLAGE OF MILAN, 623 URANIUM AVE., MILAN, NEW MEXICO, THE TRUSTEES WILL CONSIDER FOR ADOPTION ORDINANCE (THE “ORDINANCE”) 292. THE TRUSTEES MAY CONSIDER AND TAKE OTHER NECESSARY ACTION RELATING TO THE ORDINANCE AND OTHER BUSINESS WHICH MAY COME BEFORE THE BOARD.
THE PROPOSED TITLE OF THE ORDINANCE IS AS FOLLOWS:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MILAN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO ILLUSTRATE ZONING DESIGNATIONS
THE TITLE CONTAINS A SUMMARY OF THE MATTERS DISCUSSED IN THE ORDINANCE.

COMPLETE COPIES OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE VILLAGE CLERK AT THE ADDRESS STATED ABOVE AND ARE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION DURING REGULAR OFFICE HOURS. THIS NOTICE ALSO CONSTITUTES COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 3-17-3, NMSA 1978.
Notice is hereby given in compliance with the zoning ordinance of the Village of Milan, New Mexico, that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Milan upon the application of Brandon Garcia relating to the property located at 1100 Stanley Rd on January 26, 2023, at 4:30 pm, at which time and place any person determining to be heard may be present.
This application is filed for the purpose of rezoning the plat from C-1(commercial) to R-1 (residential), pursuant to the requirements of the Village of Milan Zoning Ordinance.
A public meeting before the Board of Trustees on the request will be held at 5:00pm on January 26, 2023, at Village Hall, 623 Uranium Ave, Milan, New Mexico.
